Distribution Arresters

IEEE Deadbreak Connectors

Eaton offers a complete 200 kV BIL deadbreak connector system including T-bodies, insulating plugs, junction, caps, reducing tap plugs and transformer bushings. Combining the 200 kV BIL deadbreak system with Cooper Power Systems 200 kV nameplate rated transformer means no longer sacrificing system protection due to limited component ratings.

Loadbreak Connectors

Eaton’s 200 A 15, 25, and 35 kV Loadbreak Elbow Connectors and Accessories are submersible, fully-shielded and insulated plug-in terminations, ideal for connecting underground cable to transformers, switchgear, sectionalizing cabinets and junctions. These connectors are molded using high-quality, peroxide-cured EPDM insulation for reliable field performance.

Sectionalizing Equipment

Eaton’s Cooper Power™ series versatile single and three-phase SecTER™ sectionalizing terminals are designed as cable sectionalizing centers, or as permanent or temporary transformer pad covers. Current-Limiting Fusing

Fuse Links

Eaton’s Cooper Power™ series fuse links can be applied to a variety of applications requiring overcurrent protection of distribution systems and equipment. When properly coordinated with other overcurrent protective devices, sectionalizing to isolate faulted feeder branches or equipment can be accomplished. Kearney fuse links are available in a variety of types offering a wide selection of operating characteristics.

Power Fuses

For system and asset protection – Eaton’s clip/hinge mount fuses include the CMU Medium Voltage Power Fuse as well as the ELG and JOE E-Rated Current-Limiting Power Fuses. Other power fuses include under-oil versions designed to operate in fluid-filled distribution apparatus.

UltraSIL Polymer-insulated and Porcelain Type L Open Distribution Cutout

Type L cutouts are available in both polymer and porcelain designs, which provide reliable overcurrent protection for primary distribution circuits. Overcurrent protection safeguards an electric system from excessive currents produced by abnormal conditions such as faults, line or equipment overloads, or equipment failures and are available in 15.5 kV and 27 kV voltage ratings 100 A or 200 A fuse holder or with a 300 A disconnect blade.

UltraSIL Polymer-insulated and Porcelain Type LB Open Distribution Cutout

Eaton Cooper Power series UltraSIL polymer-insulated interchangeable cutouts are now available in a loadbreak version. The UltraSIL polymer-insulated cutout incorporates an industry recognized silicone rubber insulating material with superior hydrophobic qualities and offers the loadbreak Type LB cutouts in both polymer and porcelain designs, providing reliable overcurrent protection for primary distribution circuits.

Transfer Switches

A transfer switch is a critical component of any emergency or standby power system. When the normal (preferred) source of power is lost, a transfer switch quickly and safely shifts the load circuit from the normal source of power to the emergency (alternate) source of power. This permits critical loads to continue running with minimal or no outage. After the normal source of power has been restored, the re-transfer process returns the load circuit to the normal power source.

Pow-R Line Distribution Panelboards

Made in Alberta. Eaton’s assembled panelboards are designed for sequence phase connection of branch circuit devices. This allows complete flexibility of circuit arrangement (1-, 2- or 3-poles) to allow balance of the electrical load on each phase. Sturdy, rigid chassis assembly assures accurate alignment of interior with panel front; prevents flexing and minimizes possibility of loosening or damage to current carrying parts during and after installation.

Pow-R Line Switchboards

Made in Alberta. Eaton’s Pow-R-Line designates a family of distribution switchboards incorporate new design concepts that fit the ever-increasing need for applications on high short-circuit systems, while retaining maximum standardization, safety and convenience throughout the line.

Safety Switches

Safety switches are available from 30 to 1200Ampere, 600V maximum, single and three phase, six pole, fusible and non-fusible in single and double throw designs. All offered in a variety of enclosure ratings. Eaton Safety switches are approved to the highest CSA standards and backed by a two-year warranty.
